SHIPPING CONEX – USED CONEX LLC disclaims, and the purchaser waives and releases SHIPPING CONEX – USED CONEX LLC from any and all representations and warranties either expressed or implied, as to any matter whatsoever, including without limitation except the guarantees listed below:

Free 25-year Premium Warranty on both new and used shipping containers which includes;

Leaks or holes caused by rust will be treated by providing the customer with a non-rusting material that quickly repairs and rebuilds anything out of steel. The material sets in about 5 minutes and after 60 minutes, can be drilled, tapped, machined, ground, filed, and painted.

In case of any issues, please contact us via our customer service line at 1-800-230-7764 or send us an email to orders@usedconex.com with a picture of the container doors showing the container number, as well as a picture of the area with leaks or holes.

SHIPPING CONEX – USED CONEX LLC guarantees all shipping containers come without holes on the wooden floor, that the doors open and close, and the door seal gaskets are in functional condition (not causing leakage). The customer must inspect the container and reject it in case of finding any defaults in the items mentioned above.

In the event that the customer does not notice any of the above-mentioned issues upon delivery, and finds an issue after delivery, the customer has 1 business day to report the issue to SHIPPING CONEX – USED CONEX LLC. SHIPPING CONEX – USED CONEX LLC will try to assist the customer for free to resolve the issue remotely without sending any labor forces. In case the container can not be fixed and needs to be replaced, SHIPPING CONEX – USED CONEX LLC is responsible for collecting the container and replacing the container or refunding the customer in full after the container has been collected from the customer’s property. The customer needs to collaborate properly to achieve a successful return of the product.

Any claims after 1 business day from delivery (except leaks or holes) are not guaranteed and the customer needs to contact SHIPPING CONEX – USED CONEX LLC to find a solution. If replacing the container is possible, the customer will be responsible for all the fees associated with the return of the unit/s and is responsible to return the unit/s within 5 working days from the date the claim has been accepted by SHIPPING CONEX – USED CONEX LLC. The customer understands that their request may not be eligible for refunds or returns since the claim was issued after 1 business day from the date the container was delivered.

Any future relocation or modification added to the container will automatically void the warranty.

Cancellation & Return Policy

SHIPPING CONEX – USED CONEX LLC is bound to fulfill the order within 20 business days from the date that the order was placed. In case of canceling the order before the mentioned period, SHIPPING CONEX – USED CONEX LLC has the right to deduct a minimum cancellation fee of $200 or up to 25% of the customer’s invoice.

The customer is aware of SHIPPING CONEX – USED CONEX LLC’s Delivery Guidelines and is responsible to provide the minimum space required for delivery and preparation of the delivery site.

In case the customer has any doubts about meeting the minimum space required for delivery, they are required to inform Used Conex LLC before placing an order and they are required to send pictures or videos of the delivery location to orders@usedconex.com.

In case of rejection of the container due to space limitations upon delivery, rejection based on any reasons such as aesthetics, color, or anything that is not eligible based on the ones mentioned in the terms and conditions, USED CONEX LLC will have the right to deduct a dry run fee or an amount up to twice the delivery fee on the invoice plus a $200 cancellation fee.  Used Conex LLC will issue a refund with the remaining balance within 5 business days.

Cancellations within 24 hours from the priorly scheduled delivery date are subject to twice the delivery fee plus a $200 cancelation fee. The remaining balance will be refunded to the customer within 5 business days.

During the delivery process, the Customer can request a specific location to drop off the container. If the truck gets stuck during the delivery of the container, the customer is fully responsible for getting the delivery truck out or towed, in addition to paying an hourly wait time fee of $100/hour to compensate for the driver’s time.

USED CONEX LLC shall have no liability whatsoever for loss or damage due to late or delayed delivery. If Equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, the customer shall file a claim with the delivery carrier per US Department of Transportation guidelines. Furthermore, if USED CONEX’s performance of any sales invoice is, in whole or in part, prevented or hindered by any cause whatsoever, USED CONEX LLC shall have the right to cancel, without any liability on its part, all or portions of the sales invoice so affected and issue a refund where applicable.

In case of any delay in delivery or postponement of the delivery date by the customer and the customer’s further request to cancel the order, USED CONEX LLC has the right to charge a cancellation fee of $200.00 or up to 25% of the customer’s invoice.

Customers that choose to pick up the container understand that once they have received the release information sent to their email, they will no longer be able to cancel or change the order unless they inform USED CONEX LLC and wait 3-5 business days for the release to be voided first. Customers who cancel their order and refuse to pick up the purchased container will be subject to a penalty/cancelation fee of up to 25% of the total invoice amount.

Suppose Customer places an order for pick-up (meaning Customer will pick up the container using his truck and trailer or will hire a third-party carrier). In that case, they will have to inspect the container upon pick-up to ensure the container meets the order description on the invoice. If there is any problem with the container, the Customer must inform USED CONEX LLC and not leave the depot/container yard with the container.  If the Customer leaves the depot with the container, they understand and accept that the sale has been finalized, and due to liability reasons, they won’t be able to return the container to the depot.

The customer understands that once they receive the release information, they will need to pick up the container within 7 business days free of storage charge, and Used Conex LLC  is eligible to charge a storage fee of $25/day for any days after 7 business days.

In case of chargebacks or any extra fees resulting from any of the conditions mentioned under this, “Return and Cancellation Policy”, the customer understands that Used Conex LLC has the right to chase the funds by sending the unpaid bills and dues to collections agencies and/or pursue legal action to make the customer accountable. Customers will be responsible to pay the collections and legal fees in addition to their unpaid bills.
